It has come to the attention of the Board that there has been an increase in trash and bulk items that is being disposed of in the Village II trash enclosures.

Just so you are aware, the trash enclosures in Village II are exclusively for the use of those residents as they do not have their own trash cans. Village I and III have their own private trash cans, therefore they are not authorized to utilize the trash enclosures in Village II.

Residents of Village I and III should contact Republic Services for large or bulk item pick up.

Residents that do not live in Village II that are witnessed using those trash facilities will be sent non-compliance correspondence, may be called to a hearing before the Board and may be subject to fines.


The tree trimming has been completed.

Dave’s Tree Service is going through the community in the next few days to complete any trees that they did not have access to and also to clean up residual branches that were left behind.

Tree Trimming Delay

Due to the unusually strong Santa Ana winds, the tree trimming will put on hold for a couple of days.

The wind causes dangerous working conditions for the crews and for pedestrians in the area.

The tree trimming will resume as soon as the wind has died down and no longer poses a threat.

Governing Document Amendments




An informational Town Hall meeting for the members will be held on February 28, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. at the Yorba Linda Villages Clubhouse, 23425 Old Village Rd., Yorba Linda, CA 92887, for the purpose of discussing the proposed updated governing documents for our Association.

Our Association’s current Bylaws and CC&Rs were written in 1985 and thus are obsolete and do not reflect many important provisions of the law that apply to our community.  Proposed updated governing documents have been prepared by the Association’s legal counsel in consultation with the Board of Directors.  The proposed documents incorporate applicable provisions of current California law for our community, includes contemporary provisions for the efficient operation of communities such as ours, and also addresses other items which have been issues in our community over the years.

Electronic versions of the proposed Bylaws and CC&Rs (aka the Declaration of Restrictions) and a summary chart of significant features and changes between the current documents and the proposed documents are available at:

Please take the time to review these important materials before the Town Hall meeting. 

After the meeting, the Board will determine if further edits to these proposed documents are desired.  To be adopted, the proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws and CC&Rs must be approved by a membership vote.  The membership vote will not be conducted until after this informational meeting, and it will be conducted by mail. 

Please make an effort to attend this important informational meeting.  Members of the Board, Management and legal counsel will be present to discuss the proposed updated documents and to answer your questions. Refreshments will be served.

David’s Tree Service, Inc has been contracted to trim the community trees starting Monday, February 10th at approximately 7:30 a.m.

The entire project will take 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting.
